Panels on Android
We've been hearing a lot of you want Panels for Android. We can't commit to it just yet. If you leave your email, you'll be among the first to know if we ever ship it, and to try the early betas.
Frequently asked questions
- Are you building Panels for Android?
- We hear the request a lot, but we haven't committed to Android. Other things are in flight first. Leaving your email helps us know it matters.
- If I leave my email, what do you do with it?
- We tag it "android" and hold onto it. If we ever ship for Android, you'll be among the first to hear, and you'll get access to early betas. We won't email you for anything else.
- Why don't you just commit to building it?
- Even with strong interest, we'd still need to finish what's already in motion on iOS and Mac before starting a whole new platform. Honesty beats a roadmap promise we might miss.
- I'm on Android, what should I use today?
- A few honest options. Run Komga or Kavita as your library server and use their official Android clients. Or try one of the community Android readers that speak OPDS. Whichever you pick, keeping your library in an OPDS-friendly setup means you stay portable, including if Panels ever lands on Android.
- I have an iPad or Mac too. Can I still try Panels?
- Yes. Panels is free to try on iPhone, iPad and Mac. You can grab it from the App Store and see what the reader and library actually feel like.
Already on iPad or Mac?
